Happy Trails To You

The Alarm Kitty went off in the wee hours of the morning – there’s no snooze button on a katt who wants his breakfast.  Therefore, we were up waaaaay earlier than we had anticipated so we decided to do something that we haven’t done in ages.  Sit out on the patio in our PJ’s while sipping our morning brew.  Being that our patio is facing east we were able to watch Mr. Sunshine make his morning entrance.  Thanks Alex.

It was quite relaxing to say the least and, no, Alex wasn’t allowed to come out to sit with us – this was purely “us time”.  A time to sit, sip, and speak (talk) with each other.  This is a habit that we’ll need to start working on (not the early morning part, though). 

We spent yesterday morning applying our domestic skills, then it was a bank run followed by eating a late lunch (lupper) at Demos’ Restaurant in Lebanon.  Demos’ is a small chain of four restaurants around the Murfreesboro / Nashville area with very good food at excellent prices.  We had the daily luncheon special which consisted of soup or salad, bread, and a main course all for $4.25; price wise, we couldn’t have done better at McDonald’s.

This morning Miss Judy is going back over to M&J’s to continue with some more household chores while I stay home and take care of our household chores.  Not sure what this afternoon will bring other than the possibility of thunderstorms.  It has been extremely warm with high humidity which sets the stage for afternoon thundershowers.  It will be whatever it will be and we will just have to go with the flow.
