Yesterday Unfolded

There’s not much to say, so what can we say?  Yesterday unfolded exactly as we predicted – well almost.  We decided to venture out and do the laundry yesterday afternoon so that we could have all day today to play.  While we were at the “Due Dirty Laundry” laundromat, we bumped into Thurman and Phyllis (as well as half of the Amazon CamperForce, so it seemed).  Someone had told them about an Amish country store so, after the last of the laundry was folded and put into the basket, the four of us made tracks to the store.

It was your typical unique Amish country store appropriately named “The Taste Of Home” with all the home baked items being displayed.  There were some good looking deli meats and cheeses, as well, and lots and lots of preserves.  Also, plenty of “stuff” for the sweet tooth adorned the shelves along with wheat flours, etc. for baking.  We only picked up some soup starter and a loaf of bread this time, but, like Schwarzenegger said, we’ll be back.

Other than that, we stayed inside and rested while the beef stew cooked itself in the crockpot.  It was um-um gooood especially being complemented with that fresh homemade Amish bread.  Fit for a king (and queen).

Today we are going on an outing, but we’re not saying where ‘cause we need something to write about tomorrow.  There’ll be pictures as well, so be sure to come back to see where we went and what we did.
