Yet another get together with friends, food, and fun. Yep, we just roam from one RV to another with a jug of wine and a bag of goodies looking for a place to light. Yesterday afternoon we found that place at Jim and Ellie’s where we began with Happy Hour. After a short time of munching, sipping, chatting, and laughing it was time to load up our plates with some more great food. This time it was fajitas with Mexican rice and a taco salad followed by a slice of chocolate cheese cake. After a little more wine the stories began to flow with even more laughter. A couple stories caused us to laugh so hard that the tears began running down. Needless to say, we had another great time with great friends.
Rumor has it that Don and Gloria Martin will be arriving sometime today. Yes folks, this is the same Don Martin, from the Martin and Payne law firm, that represented the Lake George Escape squirrels in their law suit against us back in the fall of 2009. For that story you will need to go to the old Wandering America website and click your way to the From Darrell’s Chair entries dated October 17th and October 31st, 2009. In any event, it will be nice to see them again being that we haven’t seen them since the Escapade in September.
So, what’s in store for today? Good question. It’s chilly this morning. We have both the heater and the fireplace running in order to take the chill off. But the sun is rising and it’s going to be a great day for outside. We’ll just have to see what comes our way.

I'm sure the stories were great but I suspect the wine had more to do with all the laughter. Enjoy life you two - keep a candle in the window so we can find our way.
