It’s been a busy weekend. Mike and Gerri arrived Thursday so we had a great visits with them on Thursday evening and again on Friday. Then on Saturday, the Marlow / Fish River Fire Department had an open house which we attended with Norm and Linda.
Of course, Sunday morning was worship, while Sunday afternoon was “Tailgate” at the church. Tailgate is a fall event where thirty to forty booths are set up by various 242 Home Groups. There’s lots of food, games, and fun. Music was provided by a DJ, drawings were held for prizes, and then awards were given to the booths for several different categories. It was just a plain, old fashioned, good time for all while encouraging participation in Home Groups.
Last evening there was a beautiful sunset, we should have made a bee line for the Fairhope Municipal Park as it was just gorgeous.
