Sometimes Judy wakes up Grumpy, other times she just lets me sleep. No, that’s not right – that’s not right at all!!! I wake up bubbly, in a good mood, singing, dancing, and rejoicing. Often I’m told to “Settle down! How can you get up so wide awake?” Anyhow, we slept in again this morning as we didn’t get to bed until around elevenish.
This past weekend was the Annual Little Traverse Bay Regatta here in Petoskey and Harbor Springs. Here are a couple of pictures taken from right out of our dining room window. We may not have the best site in the world, but we’ve got a million dollar view, none the less. Almost as good as the view across Penobscot Bay in Maine.
Matt, Jackie and kids made it home safe and sound; that’s always good news to hear when family members are traveling. It was about a 14 hour haul for them. That"’s tough when traveling with three little kids; “Are we almost there yet?” “I’m thirsty!!!” “I’ve got to go to the bathroom.” “Radek won’t stop it.” “Kalina won’t - - - Catia won’t.” Etc., etc..
When we traveled like that, Mary would take books. She would read three or four books while traveling, but her brothers? That another story. I’d like to have a hundred dollars for every trip we’ve made from New England (either Connecticut or Maine) to Michigan and from Michigan to New England. We’d have a lot of hundred bucks. And we’re still doing it only without kids (just katts, almost as bad) and no longer in one day (we take no less than three).
Other than that, we’re just doing it, doing it. Hang in there and . . .
May God Bless - - - - - - - -
