Today ends our w*rk week. For some reason this week has seemed like a week and a half, yet it’s gone by quickly. Our weather has been excellent; as Alex says, “Just Purrr-fect!” So the question is what are we going to do this weekend. Well, keeping in mind that tomorrow is the fourth of July, we don’t know for sure. One thing that we know is that there’s plenty of activities taking place right here in downtown Petoskey and we’ll be able to walk to all of it. I guess we should eat a hot dawg or two and a slice of cherry pie and some ice cream, we should watch the parade go by, we should attend a concert in the park, and we should watch fireworks light up the sky. So that’s probably just what we’ll do.
But, we have to get through today first. Now our w*rk is not extremely hard, nothing like Amazon, but it’s time consuming and, for some reason, we find it tiring. We are ready for the “weekend” that’s for sure. So, what can we say? We’re living like the rest of the w*rking world. Now we remember why we quit w*rking in the first place. Hopefully, after this stint we’ll be able to retire for good.
As you can see, I’m struggling with something to share this morning. Oh, here’s something I can share. After yesterday’s post, Norm emailed us – you just have to enjoy his wit and wisdom:
Subject: Either / Or
Sewer or Television - Television or Sewer.
Sometimes I think they are the same.
You can’t hardly disagree with that assessment, so with that, we’ll bid you adieu.
May God Bless - - - - - - -
