Lots happening around here yesterday. First of all we got up, did our ‘puter/coffee “thang”, had pancakes for breakfast, and did our morning chores.
Then Miss Judy made her world famous potato salad; a special request by our children whenever a cookout is at hand. Yep, Marc and Amie were planning a cookout at their house. Marc cooked some hot dawgs and hamburgers on the gas grill and we ate inside; don’t ask me why ‘cause it was a exceptionally beautiful day outside. But, it was all good, none the less, and we had a good time eating, chatting, and laughing (sounds pretty normal to most fulltimers, doesn’t it?).
Our house guest, Briana, arrived for a week and a half romp throughout Vermont and New York with Grandma and Grandpa. Once we brought her home, we got her set up with a place for her clothes and began getting things ready to roll. Then we donned our swim suits and hit the pool to cool down a little. Next it was home for a little television before hitting the hay.
Today we are heading for Burlington, Vermont where we’ll stay and play for a week. Then it will be onto the Adirondacks in New York for a few more days of play. Hopefully Grandma and Grandpa will be totally worn out by the end of this trip; that will mean lots and lots of great memories.
Now it’s off to hook up and head out. See ya tomorrow from Burlington – there will be pictures, I promise.
You guys have lots of fun and make those memories!!
