A Family Cookout

The munchkins arrived at Grandma and Grandpa’s “campsite” to enjoy a day  around the campfire, to eat some hot dawgs, and to make s’mores.  Of course, upon arrival the two grand daughters made a bee line for Grandpa’s lap – Oh, the knees, the knees!!!

There's Nothing Like Grandpa's Lap!!!

After a nice dinner of hot dawgs for the kids with burgers for the adults and potato salad, it was “time to make the s’mores!”  Catia toasted her own while Kalina had a helping hand from dear ol’ dad.

Just A Little Brown, Dad!!!

But, “the proof of the pudding (or in this case the s’more) is in the eating!!!”  “I ate s’mores with my grandkids – once!!”  Kids wear their food well.

In the meantime, Grandma and Radek stood waaaaay back in order to maintain cleanliness.  “Don’t put them sticky fingers on me!!  Yuck!!!”

I Want One Too, Dad!!!

A good time was had by all and before you knew it, it was time for them to go leaving Grandma and Grandpa to sit around the fire all by themselves.  The day started out with every site full and by four o’clock the campground began to look deserted – just the way we fulltimer’s like it.

"Where'd Everybody Go?"

So, if you’re in the area, be sure drop by and see us.  It will be quiet around here until next weekend.

Today we’re off on a little trip to see a few friends so check in again tomorrow to see where we went, what we did, and who we visited.  What a great life.
