Katts Take Over

‘Twas another uneventful travel day.  Just the way we like them.  However, when we raised the antenna for the television the connector that attaches the cable to the bottom of the antenna fell apart.  I guess it was just it’s time to give up the ghost.  So today I’ll pick up a new connector and make the repairs later.  Wednesday is a “none” TV night for us anyhow – there’s nothing that we care to watch on Wednesday nights.

Now for a little bit of silliness. The below was forwarded to us from our friends, Ray and Pat. It was actually about a dawg but, being that we don’t have a dawg, we changed it to katts (come to think of it, Ray and Pat don’t have a dawg either). Anyway, here it is for your reading pleasure. Hope you get a chuckle out of it even though there is some truth in it.

It's just dawned on us....
Our katts sleep about 20 hours a day.
They have their food prepared for them. They can eat whenever they want.
Their meals are provided at no cost to them.
They visit the doctor once a year for their check ups, and again during the year if any medical needs arise.
For this they pay nothing and nothing is required of them.
They live in nice neighborhoods in an RV that is much larger than they need and they are not required to do any upkeep.
If they make a mess, someone else cleans it up.
They have their choice of luxurious places to sleep.
They receive these accommodations absolutely free.
They are living like a king and a queen, and have absolutely no expenses whatsoever.
All of their costs are picked up by others who go out and earn a living every day (or at least we used to).
I was just thinking about all this, and suddenly it hit me like a brick ........

OMG! I think our katts are members of Congress!!!!

Now thar’s something to think about.  Hope you got a chuckle out of it.  We only wish it was true that Congress did absolutely nothing.  Every time they do something, it ends up complicating things, causing us more frustration, and costing us more money.  Plus, it seems to add to the National Debt.  We’d be better off if they “stood” in bed and slept for 20 hours a day (actually 24 hours).

May God Bless  - - - - - - - -

  3. Actually this sounds like the entitlement mentality that the "Occupy terrorists" have. They want more and more to have other peoples money provide for them. The cats are better behaved, they don't tear up others property if they don't get their way.

The Senate hasn't had a budget in 3 years. No wonder our country has such a high deficit. They just want to keep on spending and wanting taxpayers to give them even more. Cats are easier to care for.
