I don’t wanna get up, I’m a Lazy-R-Us boy. Yep, that’s how I feel this morning. I don’t know why, I went to bed at ten and got a good night’s sleep. I just don’t wanna get up this morning, but up I am.
Mike and Peggy arrived around noontime yesterday and it was soooooooo good to see them again. After a beer and some chatting, Mike inspected my wiring job on the new landing gear and gave me his “rubber stamp” of approval. We began discussing our trip west next month and established a departure date of February 27th making Bayou Signet State Park near New Orleans our first stop. Then onto Betty’s RV Park and a swamp tour? Not sure yet but it’s a possibility. A stop at Rainbow’s End in Livingston is in the travel plans and then it’s onto the hill country of Texas for a couple of weeks.
Miss Judy was up early this morning and had gotten the kitchen all cleaned up after last night’s supper. Mike and Peggy joined us for supper after the four of us attended the four o’clock social time. We had parmesan chicken, broccoli, and a Greek salad. ‘Twas all yum, yum, yummy.
Today’s schedule is pretty much blank even though there is a “must git-r-done before we roll” agenda hanging out there. We have some more rain heading our direction so I need to get some caulking done on the front of the coach as the water is leaking in behind the trim along the bottom of the goose neck portion of the fifthwheel. I had used silicon based “stuff” last year, but that didn’t hold up so I need to get some “RV Goop” to fill the gaps.
That’s All For Today. May God Bless - - - - - - - - -
