If it’s Sunday, then it’s worship. We attended church yesterday morning and stopped at Walmart on the way home to check out computers for a replacement for Judy’s. They didn’t have much of a selection. After we returned home and had some lunch, Judy tried her computer again and it worked. The best we can figure is that the katt’s had unplugged the computer while raising you know what behind the chairs. The battery, which isn’t very good, depleted its self and had to be recharged. So, while we were at church getting recharged, the computer was home getting recharged. There is peace in the valley once again and “all is good”.
The format of the Sunday Ice Cream Social was changed a little bit with the Mardi Gras Celebration going on. Things got kicked off a little earlier than usual with the King and Queen arriving at 5:30, ice cream served at 5:45, the quilt drawing once the ice cream was disposed of, and then skits were performed with music by the Wayfarers following. Here are some pictures of the festivities, you may follow along by placing your cursor over the picture:
As you can tell, everyone had a great time. The stage was cleared and the Wayfarers took over providing live music for the rest of the evening. Today there’s a parade followed by more merriment and mayhem. So, tune in tomorrow for another report.
