Yep, another day, another luncheon. Mike and Peggy and Judy and I introduced Jim and Linda to Big Daddy’s. It was a fun outing with good food and great company. Emrys has stated that Jim has modified their travel plans and that they will be staying at the Plantation for a little longer. That’s great, hopefully we’ll get to spend some more time with them over the next week or so.
Now that we’ve taken a few days off, it’s time to get back to chores and projects. We have a new one to add to the list – our furnace quit working again. It refuses to fire. It’s either another bad connection or a bad board. This time I will pull the furnace out and see if I, with Mike’s assistance, can trouble shoot and repair the problem. Most likely it will be Mike with my assistance doing the trouble shooting. Anyway, hopefully we can get it repaired without having to pay someone else to fix it.
I still have a little caulking and some touch up painting to do plus 303ing the slideout gaskets. I’d better get busy because Friday is the kickoff for the Mardi Gras celebration here at the Plantation and we’ll be nothing but busy, busy, busy having lots and lots and lots of fun, food, and fellowship over the next five days.
Today we are planning to get our eyes checked out, go to Petsmart to replenish the katt’s food locker, stop by J.C.Penny’s to get some new socks and shorts, and walk through Hobby Lobby just because we can. We may have to have lunch at Five Guys while we’re in the area or grab a slice of pizza at Sam’s Club. At this rate, we might be able to eliminate grocery shopping at Wally World – NOT!!!
