Thunder storms moved in just before nine o’clock last night and continued until after two A.M. this morning. There was no rain at all for the first couple of hours, just thunder and lightning. And then the rains came down. They continued until early this morning, but it all has cleared out now. All this warm weather and rain is causing the grass to grow so there’s one more thing I have to add to the Ol’ Ta Do List.
I returned home from the VA clinic by eight o’clock yesterday morning. Judy spent some time working on her Scrappy Quilt of Many Colors while I took everything out of the basement, vacuumed it, and washed the floor. Today is “wash the truck” day. Black trucks do not like to be washed on bright sunny days. So, while it’s still overcast outside, I’ll get busy and wash off the dirt.
Everything we’ve ordered (the steps, the waxer/polisher/buffer, and Alex’s vitamins) are scheduled to arrive today via Fedex. I hope to get the new steps installed either today or tomorrow, depending on what time they show up. A morning delivery would be great.
So, there you have it. Work, work, and more work. Before we know it, it will be time for us to head down the road once more so we need to “make hay while the sun shines”.

there is always work cleaning and maintenance no matter what you live in...but looks like you have a handle on it! I hate thunder and lightening at all times but find it more frightening when there is no rain with it...sort of spooky...
