Yesterday unfolded pretty much as planned. It rained until late afternoon so we just “stood” inside most of the day and read. We did get out and get our eyes checked. Surprise, surprise cataracts are setting into these old eyes as well as my brides young eyes. Something that we’ll need to be deal with in the future.
Last night we attended our 242 group dinner, Bible study, and prayer meeting. It was nice to see everyone once again. We’ll sure miss this group as well as our church when we take to the road again in a couple weeks. When we leave, we’ll be gone for over six months. That’s a great big, “YAY” and a great big, “UGH” at the same time.
Guess what’s for today? More rain. A “severe” thunderstorm is headed our way as I write this morning. Come mid to late afternoon most of the inclement weather will be past us and it “should” be clearing up for the rest of the week. This is the remnants of the storms that pasted through the Dallas / Fort Worth area a couple days ago.
After all this nastiness gets out of Mother Nature’s system, I’ll be able to get outside and try out the new waxer/polisher/buffer. I think it was a good choice even though I spent more money on it than I wanted. Especially being that most of the time I’ll be using it will be on a vertical surface.
Hopefully, I’ll get a few minutes today between the rain drops to switch the switches. When I installed the switches for the leveling gear I put the switch for the starboard (right) leg in the front position on the panel and the switch for the port (left) leg in the aft position on the panel. My brain just doesn’t accept this, so I’m always pushing the wrong switch. It won’t take long to fix this little problem by reversing the switches, then things will work “right”.
Well, “Enuf” is “Enuf” and this is “Enuf” so, May God Bless - - - - - - - - -
