Oh, oh!! We’re heading in a northeasterly direction and “they” just showed pictures from Pennsylvania on the telly with some #%&%# sn*w! What? Did you say #%&%# sn*w? Yep, that’s exactly what I said. The good news is that we are still almost two weeks away from crossing the Pennsylvania border. Hopefully that “stuff” clears out by then and the temperatures return to the unseasonably warm temps that they have been experiencing earlier this year.
Yesterday morning we attended COTES via the internet. Pastor Russ started a new series entitled “30 Day To Live”. It was an excellent message that went “hand in hand” with the message that Pastor Jackson delivered Saturday night. Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together? And God’s plan is coming together just as He promised it would.
The kids and grand kids arrived around noon time. We set fire to some charcoal in the grill and some wood in the fireplace. Then we burned some hot dawgs and hamburgers on the grill. Judy made a strawberry J-ello with real live strawberries in it while Matt and Jackie brought some watermelon and strawberries to munch on. You know that you can’t have kids and a fire without having S’mores.
And, also, when you have grand kids near a playground you just know where you’re going to end up.
So, we ended the day with another successful family outing with fun times being had by all. It was a great Sunday with great memories being made.
