Back On The Road Again

Leonard Truck and Trailer rebuilt the right front wheel on the fifthwheel and checked out the other three wheels.  The bill only came to $389 which included a new fire extinguisher as well.  They had us out of the shop by 11:30 so we were able to have lunch and then hit the road.  If you are on either I-76 or I-80 on the eastern side of Ohio (near where those two interstates cross) and need service to your truck or RV, then we can highly recommend Leonard Truck and Trailer in North Jackson, Ohio.

Well, we made it safe and sound to Holly, Michigan.  It was a five hour travel day, however, we didn’t get started until twelve o’clock.  Rain was threatening as we approached Holly; we just hate it when it rains on our day of arrival at Judy’s Sister’s place.  We have to travel down two to three miles of dirt road to get to their house and rain turns that road to mud which gets all over the lower front portion of the RV.  But we slid into our site just before the rain began to fall (it started raining while we were doing the hookups).

So we spent some time visiting with Shirley and Warren.  Shirley had prepared a nice lasagna for dinner.  We stumbled on home at a little after eight and were in bed by nine-thirty; the end of another day in the life.

Today we (Warren, Shirley, Judy, and I) are going on an outing to a place where Judy and I have never visited in all of our years in Michigan.  You’ll have to come back tomorrow to find out where.

So, in the meantime, May God Bless  - - - - - - - - -
