The day began with Mr. Alex wanting up; he’s gotten back into his old habit of starting his day at oh-dark-hundred hours. After a little coffee and ‘puter time, we readied ourselves for church. With a quick stop at Uncle Wally’s behind us, we made our way back home where we enjoyed a nice pizza and relaxed while doing a little reading.
The Mardi Gras festivities here at Rainbow Plantation continue. We made our way over to the clubhouse at around five o’clock for an evening of ice cream and entertainment. The place was packed with a lot of shenanigans and laughter going on. You may ask why people our age are having so much fun? It’s because we can!!!
Today the festivities will carry on with a parade, a luncheon, more entertainment, and an auction. However, we have a few “Ta Do List” items to get started on. No more dillydallying. The countdown is continuing with just over four weeks left before the wheels on rig go ‘round and ‘round.
Take Care Until Next Time - - - - -
