The trip was short and uneventful. We departed at nine o’clock and pulled into Topsham Fairgrounds just before ten. By 10:30 we were all set up and ready for fun. We did some house cleaning and entertained some friends from our past, Tim and Linda. Then we went out to dinner.
We went to Peggio’s Fine Italiano Kitchen for some home styled pizza which was very fine indeed. If you are ever in the Topsham area, stop by Peggio’s Kitchen and Mikee’s Brake Shop, Lube Center, RV Repair, and Classic Car Emporium for some really fine service. Yep, you guessed it, we had dinner with Mike and Peggy – it was our “travel day” dinner. Thanks Peggy for a great meal.
This morning is shopping day and truck washing day. If I’m real ambitious, I might even wash the rig. It could use a “pre-wash” before I commence the “deep cleaning wash” next week. Pine trees are extremely messy to live under so, after six weeks of sitting under them, our rig is really, really, really yucky dirty.
Well, a short trip, meeting up with friends, and a nice dinner with Mike and Peggy is just about all the excitement that these two old geezers can stand for one day. Life is Good, RVing Life is Better.
Note: Two more sleeps and then Ol’ Heck breaks loose!!! “Maine may never be the same. . . .”
