All the sleeps and wake ups are behind us. Today is moving day. We’ll have a big move this morning, a whole whooping 33 miles. It might be necessary to make two potty stops and one lunch break along the way before arriving at our destination. We’ll set up housekeeping and get ready for company. Hopefully, I’ll have time to wash the front of the rig and the truck. They are both an absolute mess being covered with pine dust and pine pitch.
Yesterday was a hot muggy day and we happily cavorted about in it, just loving it. Heat no longer bothers us; as a matter of fact, we thrive in it. However, it ended with thunderstorms passing through. A cold front moved through last night bringing slightly cooler weather with it which will be just right for moving day. The humidity is gone and the temps will be in the seventies – that works!!
So, it’s time to get moving and start packing up. We want to get underway close to nine o’clock so we can get to the fairgrounds by ten-ish. Hopefully the fairgrounds will have cut the grass, otherwise, we may have to mow the lawn before we get set-up.
Well, that’s all I got!!! Short on words, long on content (well, maybe not). But, anyway, b- b-, b- b-, that’s all folks. Take Care Until Next Time - - - - - -
Hope the move went well. Will be looking for pictures of the new place.
