Wrapping It Up

Yesterday was kind of a “recoup” day.  Mike and Peggy joined Randy, Terry, Judy and I at the Kopper Kettle for breakfast.  Then R, T, J and I accomplished a little shopping at Walmart and Hannaford’s before returning home.  We wiled away the afternoon at home by relaxing, napping, reading, etc..

At three thirty R, T, J, and I headed over to M and P’s for a cookout – hamburgers, hot dawgs, baked beans, cantaloupe, and “Walt R. Melon”.  We ate and visited out on the deck until the rain drove us inside where we chatted and chuckled some more.  I guess you could say that this was our “last meal”; together, that is, until the six of us regroup once again somewhere in the future.

We did learn two things yesterday afternoon – “It has a fence around it and they (Gummint) don’t care!!!!”  It’s one (or two) of those things where you’d have to have been there in order to fully comprehend.  However, it gave us a good laugh at the time and is shared here mainly to bring a smile to our faces one last time.

It’s unbelievable how fast time flies by when you’re having waaaaaaay toooooo much fun.  Randy and Terry are on the road again heading home to Pennsylvania.  We certainly wish them a good and safe trip.  It sure was nice to be able to spend some time with them this summah.  Wish they could have stayed for a month or more.  We crammed way too much “stuff” into far to little of time.  It sure kept us busy and on the run, but we enjoyed every minute of it.  Judy and I will see them again at the end of July.

We’ll be in Topsham for another week to wash the RV and truck.  On Wednesday we get two new tires put on the truck (this was planned) and then ‘twill be off to Belfast on Friday to spend some time with my brother and Shauna.  Marc, Amie, and kids will join us for a few days around the fourth.  Therefore, plenty of good times lie ahead.

So that’s pretty much the state of our affairs at the time being.  Take care for now and hope to see you down the road.  BBFN!!!
