Getting An Early Start

The missus and I arose real early this morning.  It must have been flashbacks from our w*rking days at the Amazon.com Fulfillment and Spa Center in beautiful downtown Campbellsville, Kentucky.  We rolled outta bed at oh dark thirty (0430 hours) and fixed up a pot of coffee; by 0600 we were brewing a second pot of coffee.  I can almost guarantee a nap later today – what can I say?

We’re slowly making progress on our projects.  Judy hopes to get Alex’s blankie done before we leave, but she may not get her Scrappy Quilt Of Many Colors finished before the wheels begin rolling down the highway.  I still have some caulking to complete, a little touch up painting to do, applying 303 on all the slideout gaskets and tires, and waxing the front and rear caps using the Marguiar’s carnauba wax; I should finish the caulking today.

Mikee’s project is coming along right fine too, he should finish the installation of a new sewer hose storage tube today.  For further details on this project check out Mike’s Blog, Maineiacs In Motion.  Mike, also, includes some photos of Rainbow Plantation all decked out in its Mardi Gras regalia.

The four of us (Mike, Peggy, Judy, and I) know that we need to get out and about; that is, make a day trip to somewhere.  We’ve talked about several ideas but have yet to land on any one in particular.  Hang in there, we’ll find something worthy of our interestingness, this “all work and no play” is getting real old real fast.
