It was Randy and Terry who came to dinner. They left Bonifay, Florida right after they finished workamping for the day and made their way westward arriving here around five o’clock last night. Judy had made her world famous lasagna, one of Randy’s favorites, while I took care of the garlic bread on ciabatta bread and Peggy whipped up a nice spinach salad. Judy, also, made some raspberry bars for dessert. It was all yummy, but the best part was the six of us being together once again. You just know that the laughter rolled forth throughout the evening.
Other than that, our day consisted of chores, a quick run to WWW (Wonderful Wally World), preparing diner, reading, and tea time with Mike and Peggy. Today is church followed by I don’t know what with Ice Cream Social rounding out the day. See, I told you that we were going to take a few days off from w*rking around the house.
Well, it’s time for us to ready ourselves for church and to worship the Lord. That means more than just washing behind our ears and putting on fancy clothes. We need to bath our minds and put on our praise. That should be a daily event, not just for Sundays.
