Oh, Boo Hoo

Never, never, never wake a sleeping Giant.  It was a close game, but the Patriots choked once again and beat themselves.  Is it the curse of the Bambino all over again?  Only for the Patriots, not the Red Sox?  Let’s hope not.  The next time the Patriots and the Giants line up nose to nose and toes to toes, let’s hope for a different outcome.

It was still a great day.  Mike, Peggy, Judy, and I attended church yesterday morning.  The four of us took care of a few household chores yesterday afternoon before heading over to the clubhouse for the Ice Cream Social at four o’clock.  Larry’s Café opened at five o’clock serving hamburgers, pulled pork sandwiches, and chicken wings.  This was a special meal for Superbowl Sunday.  The projector was set up to broadcast the game on the “big screen” but, being that Mikee and Judy are serious Patriot fans, we headed home where the fans (short for fanatics) could yell at the screen without being hauled away in the back of a rubber truck.

What’s next?  There are no plans in place for the entire week, but we all have some projects that we want to finish before heading westward.  Judy and I are going to run errands this morning and then I will continue with the washing and waxing effort.  I have a couple of repairs to make before we depart in three weeks, but, hopefully, the four of us will squeeze in a couple of outings in the local area as well.

Well, that’s it for today.  May God Bless  - - - - - - - - -
